I have a new series of work, 200 Central Park West  at the Riverside Arts Center Docent Exhibit this month!

It is a further look into my fascination with DNA, mystery, and identity and incorporates new explorations into fibers, specifically hand-dyed fabric and embroidery.

Hope you can get out to have a look at mine and the other docent artists!

Jen Seibert Delivers Wonderful Talk at Reception!

Last night, artist and juror, Jen Seibert, addressed a standing room only audience at the AAWA Spring Exhibit reception.  Jen’s  talk , “What makes a piece of art interesting and captivating”,  delivered in her intelligent, thoughtful and humorous style, held the crowd in rapt attention!  She generously  stayed long  after wards, answering questions and chatting with many artists and guests.

The show is beautiful! 95 works of both 2-D and 3-D art fill the multi-purpose room as well as the third floor of the library.  This is an exhibit you will want to see more than once!
